A full-bodied and structured red wine made with Merlot grapes grown in the Contrada Le Querce area (Barile).
Vinified in cement vats and aged in steel until bottling, Serra delle Querce is produced according to Basilicata’s winemaking tradition but using the most modern methods, moreover, it offers a fresh, harmonious and enveloping sip.
A lively ruby red colour with a nose that is reminiscent of small berries, currants and cherries. On the palate, it is very harmonious, soft and pleasantly balanced.

Harvested Exclusively by hand, in mid-September

Vinification traditional technique with a 8-10 day maceration period

Large, ideal for intense and well-structured reds that need oxygen to release their rich and complex aromas.

Aging

It can be drunk immediately, however, it tends to improve if kept in a cellar for up to 10 years
