ROSÈ

Villa dei Pini
Rosato IGT

Basilicata

The rosé of Casa Vinicola D’Angelo is made from the Aglianico del Vulture vine variety. To achieve an optimal level of acidity, the harvest is carried out in early October, thus about 10 days earlier than usual. The result is a rosé wine with a pale colour and pleasant mineral notes. The first vintage was produced in 1960, something that goes to show how consistently innovative Casa Vinicola D’Angelo is.

Harvested exclusively by hand in early October

Vinification after the crushing step, the must is left with the grapes for about 12/24 hours. The following fermentation phase takes place in stainless steel tanks where the product is kept at 15-17 °C for about 20 days.
